these are my personal view and i am sure people will want to tackle me on my view that fine but dont be offensive this is my take and it from the heart of how i see things
the subject as it says is the lack of forward drive in learning disability policy
we had valuing people way back in 2001 and it was exciting and real sense of believe and drive yes we have a plan the first of it kind and a white paper since the year 1971 when was the year i was born too long from 1971 to 2001 to come up with up to date plan for learning disability service and then it was another nine years in what was valuing people now in 2009 links at the end of the blog
but i am disppointed because since 2009 and this government with the coliation tories and the lib dems apprently coming together after the country in 2010 was not impressed with the main politicial parties to allow one of them to run the country it was left to the tories and lib dems to run the country. anyway we face european elections and local governement elections in some parts of the country in may so they can vote for change . and the country has a general election next year i carnt wait to get rid of this lot because they hacve let people with learning disability and wider disability have been majorly let down people with learning disability dont get enough services because they dont quaility because of budget and governemnt cuts you are pusihed because you have a learning disability for being sick or disabled and carnt work and we have a system where the people doing the system arent really that good and making people jobs and lives harder .
why is we still have abuse and scandal and such a poor quaility of life because not everything can be blamed on this governement but is helped when people are getting away with make the vulnerable people life like hell . when is the government going to look at make service special when it needed for people instead of being made to do with second best when the recent years with people being hurt it not fair we keep being ingored because politicials think there are not votes in it
let change that please vote for people who do what they say and make things better and dont make promised they carnt keep when you go to vote in may go with your heart and you head and ask them what they need to do to get your vote and make them work for it
we need a new vision for people with learning disabiity and other disability let make sure they dont ingore us anymore
